The Philippines is making its debut at the World Kendo Championship! A 15-member team, including Denise Verastigue-Gonzales and Vernalyn Buckley-Chiongban, will be competing in Milan, Italy from July 4 to 7, 2024. These former SFAS students are part of history as the Philippines joins the world's biggest Kendo event for the first time. The whole country and the entire SFAS community is cheering them on!
