On July 4, the St. Francis of Assisi School family celebrated a remarkable milestone and bid a heartfelt farewell to a leader whose 35 years of dedicated service have left an enduring mark on our community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Gilbert G. Jatayna for his unwavering commitment, compassionate leadership, and steadfast faith in shaping generations of learners. His wisdom, humility, and love for education have inspired countless students, teachers, parents, and colleagues.

As Dr. Jatayna begins this new chapter of life, we pray that God continues to bless him with good health, abundant joy, and well‑deserved peace. Though he may be retiring from his office, his legacy of excellence, service, and servant leadership will forever remain a part of the SFAS family.
